Well we are heading home, contractions have settled down and they have told us to head home to get some rest and come back when they return and are more intense.  stay tuned…

Baby watch update:  Robin was having contractions 5min apart last night (3am) for about an hour so per Dr. instructions we came into the hospital and she was only 2cm as of now (8:30am) not much has changed we may stay, or we may go home, it just depends on the next hour or two.  She had a migraine so they gave her some demerol and that seems to be working.  Stay tuned for more updates…

Opening ceremonies last night got me remembering 2.5 years ago watching the winter olypics late night just after ethan was born, and how funny the timing is that Jamie is almost here as we launch into these olympics.

We had our 3d ultrasound this week, amazing how much detail they get from those things, check out the picture below and put out some good thouhts for us for an easy delivery.

Jamie is coming!!!

Ethan’s Cousin Isaac came over today to hang out for a little while. As they began to leave Ethan wanted to help his cousin to the car. I caught some good video of it here.

My sister Lisa Gainsley just gave birth to an amazing looking Baby boy today

Baby, Mom and Dad are doing well, stay tuned for pictures and more details, Matt came into the waiting room and announced the news, but didn’t have a name, size time anything, but our newest member has arrived!!!

Update: Lisa was amazing from what I hear, she only pushed for about 20 minutes, what a rock star!!!!

Google this year gave out the Flip video camera to some of its top clients, SEM firms like the one I work for, and Account Managers who handle some of our larger accounts. It seemed like such a great and simple way to shoot and upload video that i thought I’d go out and buy one. Here is what it looks like:

Its very basic in its form and function. After an out of the box experience where I had to reformat it and re install the operating system with help from Flip’s tech support, I had the thing running and shot some video with it. Its pretty cool in that no software needs to be installed on the computer, you can plug it in via USB, run the software and upload from anywhere. I use YouTube to publish my videos and quality isn’t the best but overall this is a great one for amateur quality video shooting and ease of use. I really got tired of pulling the memory card out of my old camcorder, waiting the 20 minutes to translate the video into the right format then download to YouTube. so here are the specs and a link to buy one if you are interested.

We went up to Ojai and had a great weekend over new years. We spent a ton of time playing the park where they had this crawl through tube with windows where we caught a couple good ones of Ethan sticking his face out of the tube window.

Grandpa Joe was here the other night and i pulled these pictures of EJ off his camera from Hallowwen. enjoy.

The Little guy has developed quite a colelction of trucks. There seems to be an arms race developing between grandma Joyce and Papa Barry.

Im a poop-heel, i forgot Renee’s birthday yesterday and am hoping to make it up to her by posting pictures we took of ethan at the pumpkin patch.
